Language and Literature Independent Humanities Courses is an educational service provided by Mrs. Kellan Hogye, an independent, state-certified, licensed teacher in Loudoun County, Virginia. The courses outlined in this site serve the needs of homeschool and public-school students in the Northern Virginia area in the disciplines of English language and literature, writing, and Latin. Welcome to Michael Lee Hogye, born on April 14, 2007, at 6 pounds, 4 ounces! Mrs. Hogye will be on maternity leave for the 2007-2008 school year and will not be accepting new students. Inclement weather policies: Unless you are otherwise notified, classes will be held as normal on inclement-weather days for anyone who is willing and/or able to reach Mrs. Hogye's house. If you are not able to attend due to snow, days are available as makeup days at no extra cost. Call or e-mail Mrs. Hogye to set up a time. (Please don't risk your safety just to get to class!)
